Terms of Service Policy
Bookings: Please choose your booking or bookings carefully as there are strictly no refunds or credits able to be provided for cancellation of a booking or bookings due to change of mind. One hundred percent (100%) of the booking is payable upfront on our website through Timely. Upon successful payment of your booking you will be e-mailed a paid invoice, your chosen babysitters qualifications and clearances and Jazz’s Babysitting Client Intake Form. Please ensure you complete the form adequately to provide the babysitter with the best understanding of your booking requirements and to also ensure continuity of care for the children. For all bookings (except Event Care), the minimum hours worked by the babysitter are two (2) hours. The applicable rate is charged in hourly increments with the time rounded up. We are unable to refund or credit time eg arriving home early. In the event you will be late coming home, please text Jazz in advance. Overtime payment will be charged to your debit card linked to your booking and you will receive a paid invoice via e-mail upon successful payment.
Travel: If the address for babysitting services is 30 to 35 kilometres away from the babysitters home, a travel fee of $45 will be payable. Destinations further than 35 kilometres from the babysitters home will be at the request of the babysitter and will be quoted separately.
Babysitter Duties: Our responsibility is to care for your children’s safety and wellbeing within the home/accommodation at all times. We will adhere to your children’s routine to the best of our ability. Please allow some flexibility with respect to nap time, meal times and bed times due to the unfamiliarity of the babysitter. Please understand the babysitter will adhere to your instructions/requests to the best of her ability, however, will always fall back on her training as an educator and what the babysitter is most comfortable with. Rest assured Jazz will update you throughout the booking for your peace of mind. Please remember we are a babysitting service not a nanny service and therefore are unable to clean, cook, transport children or go on outings with the children. The children’s meals and snacks must be pre-prepared and/or paid and organised in advance eg Uber Eats/Door Dash etc. If ordering take away home delivery requiring cash payment eg Dominos/Pizza Hut etc, please ensure the correct amount of cash is provided to the babysitter at the start of the booking/before you leave so the delivery driver can be paid.
Health: If your children have any allergies and/or medical conditions and/or require medication administration from the babysitter during the booking, please ensure you complete the Nannysure Permission Slip to Administer Medication Form. The health and wellbeing of my team is important. Please respect that we are cannot babysit sick children. Please contact Jazz before your booking if your children are showing signs/symptoms of illness. To receive one hundred percent (100%) credit for your paid booking six (6) hours notice and a medical certificate need to be provided to Jazz within three (3) business days. If you fail to disclose illness and/or antibiotic treatment to Jazz prior to your booking and the babysitter arrives to sick children your booking will be terminated immediately and no credit will be provided.
Safety: For the safety and wellbeing of my team we cannot babysit children who could become violent and/or verbally abusive towards the babysitter. Failure to disclose this information to Jazz prior to the booking and an incident occurs, the booking will be terminated immediately, an Incident report and Police report will be made and no future care will be provided by Jazz’s Babysitting.
