How it works
1.
Click ‘Book now’, choose your
babysitter, booking date, booking start time and add on hours (as applicable) and complete payment.
2.
Complete the Jazz’s Babysitting Client Intake Form and Nannysure Permission Slip to Administer Medication Form.
3.
You will receive an e-mail with confirmation of your booking as well as an e-mail of your chosen babysitter’s qualifications and clearances to read and sign.
4.
On the day of your booking Jazz will check in with your chosen babysitter and provide you an update on your children and how the booking is proceeding.

How do I know my child will be safe?
We conduct reference and background checks. It is mandatory in WA for anyone working with children to have a Working with Children Check. All of our team members have a Working with Children check, National Police Clearance, First Aid and CPR certification, Child Protection certification and Red Nose SIDS Safe Sleep certification to ensure the highest safety standards.
What qualifications and experience do your babysitters have?
Every team member has childcare or teaching qualifications as well as a minimum of 7 years of industry experience caring for children. Each team member has been hand selected by Jazz who has been caring for children professionally for 15 years. Each of our team members also have up to date Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, First Aid and CPR certification. Jazz ensures every team member renews their clearances and certificates in line with childcare regulations.
How does the booking process work?
Our booking system is quick and easy. Simply click the book now button, choose your preferred babysitter, select the date and time you wish to book, select your desired add on hours as required and complete the booking request. Once your booking is confirmed, you will be emailed Jazz’s Babysitting Client Intake Form and Nannysure Permission Slip to Administer Medication Form (if your child has a medical condition or requires medication administration). You will also receive an e-mail confirmation with your chosen babysitters qualifications and clearances for your peace of mind. Last minute and emergency bookings are available 24/7 by using our booking system or calling Jazz directly on 0408 802 227.
Do you provide care for newborns or children with additional needs?
Yes! Our team is trained to care for children from newborns to teenagers. We also care for children with disabilities and/or additional learning needs. Inclusive education and care is important to Jazz’s Babysitting and we endeavour to provide individualised care and tailored support for every family.
What makes Jazz’s Babysitting different from an agency?
Born and raised in Perth Jazz is very familiar with the metropolitan and rural areas surrounding Perth. She is the sole owner and operator of the service and is not an outsourcing agency. Every babysitter is personally interviewed by Jazz with background checks completed for your peace of mind. All of Jazz’s babysitters hold childcare or teaching qualifications and a minimum of 7 years professional experience caring for children. Jazz ensures her team members have up to date clearances and is committed to her team’s ongoing professional development to ensure a high level of care and commitment to early years education.

Is there a minimum/maximum time limit for your service?
Our babysitting services have no strict maximum time limit. We’re here to provide flexible, reliable care that suits your needs. We have a minimum booking requirement of 2 hours for most services except for Event Care which has a minimum booking requirement of 3 hours. We’re happy to accommodate your booking.
