1. Booking procedures

Please choose carefully as I am are unable to refund booking/bookings due to change of mind. In the event of illness, a minimum of 6 hours notice is required for 100% of the booking to be credited. In the event you provide less than 6 hours notice of illness, 40% of the booking will be credited to your Setmore account. Credits are valid for 2 years from date of issue. Credits cannot be exchanged for cash.

Please ensure you complete and sign Jazz’s Babysitting Client Intake Form via Jotform honestly and to the best of your knowledge. Please ensure you read and sign Jazz’s Qualifications and Clearances Document via Jotform prior to your booking. Please note these 2 documents via Jotform are required to be completed before your booking.

Please ensure the 2 Emergency Contacts listed in Jazz’s Babysitting Client Intake Form are available and are in Perth on the date of your booking/bookings.

If your child/children require any medication to be administered during the booking/bookings please provide me with clear instructions of quantity and times to be administered in the Jazz’s Babysitting Client Intake Form. If your child/children have any allergies/medical conditions please ensure a Medical Action Plan is uploaded and the correct rescue medication is provided (for example Epipen). To avoid any delays to your booking, please ensure the correct medication/rescue medication is provided to me at the start of your booking.

Please ensure food is prepared prior to my arrival. For takeaway/food deliveries, please ensure you order/pay prior to my arrival or leave the correct cash at the start of your booking as I am unable to pay for food deliveries.

During the booking, the children and I cannot leave the boundary of the property (for example go on any outings). I do not transport children in the car. Swimming pools and spas are strictly off limits. I am unable to clean your home or cook meals outside of caring for your children. I do not offer overnight care.      

Please note Travel Fees apply to booking destinations further than 20 kilometres from Bentley (one way). Please select the applicable Travel Fee on Setmore when making a booking. Booking destinations further than 40 kilometres from Bentley (one way) will be quoted individually. Please contact me regarding this.

3. Best Practice

I will endeavour to follow your requests outlined in the Jazz’s Babysitting Client Intake Form, however, if your requests do not follow best practice, I will always fall back on my training as an educator/pre-service teacher and what I am most comfortable with. 

4. Health and Safety

For my health and safety I am unable to care for children who are sick or on a course of antibiotics. If I arrive to sick child/children, the booking will be terminated immediately and no further care will be provided by Jazz’s Babysitting. I have a zero tolerance policy for abusive/disrespectful behaviour from parents/guardians/guests/children. In the event abusive/disrespectful behaviour occurs, the booking will be terminated immediately, a Police report will be made and no further care will be provided by Jazz’s Babysitting.

5. Overtime Etiquette 

The latest finish time for babysitting is 12am (excluding New Year’s Eve/Events which has a latest finish time of 1am). If you are going to be late home, please contact me via SMS as soon as possible for a mutual booking extension. If you do not come home at the mutual booking extension time, a late fee charge of $80 will apply on top of any unpaid babysitting overtime accrued. If you are not contactable when the mutual booking extension time has lapsed, your emergency contacts will be called to relieve me. If your emergency contacts are not contactable the Police will be called. The late fee and unpaid babysitting overtime will be charged to your debit card linked to your Setmore account and no further care will be provided by Jazz’s Babysitting.
